I Live In Room And Parlour, My Wife Lives In The Big House; I Don't Go There If She Isn't Around—Obi

Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State, has stated that he owns a large house in Onitsha but usually does not stay in it unless his wife is around.

In a video shared by Advocacy For Good Governance, Obi said he has a separate one-bedroom apartment with a sitting room where he lives and keeps all his personal belongings.

Obi said his wife Margaret stays in the big house. He said when his wife is away, he remains in his one-bedroom apartment and does not enter or even go near the big house.

In Obi's words: "I said why don't we just build a small house, she said no she wants a very big house. I said fine, as long as we are going to have an agreement that you will build a big house but you are going to build one room and parlour for me.

So this is where I live, everything I have is here. My wife lives in the big house, when she comes back I go there and sleep because she is there. If she is not around I don't even enter there or go near there"

“He held sway in Zamfara, Niger and he kidnap along Abuja and Kogi. We have intelligence and we have been monitoring him for the past six months, and we know that he has so many arms and ammunition and he has boys,” Godfrey stated.

He explained that security operatives spent months studying the suspect’s movements, methods of operation, and the structure of his alleged criminal network before launching the arrest operation.

Godfrey also disclosed that intelligence reports suggested the suspect possessed a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition and had several armed loyalists working with him. He said the complexity of the situation required extensive planning and caution to ensure the operation was carried out successfully.
