Fedrick shared the chilling account during an interview on TVC News, on Wednesday, 17 June, 2026, where she narrated the terrifying moments she spent in captivity.
Her testimony provides further insight into the tactics employed by armed bandits to evade security operations while keeping their victims under constant surveillance and control.
According to the victim, the abductors reacted swiftly whenever they detected signs of an approaching rescue mission, forcing the hostages to move through dense forests and exposing them to even greater danger.
Recounting one such incident, Fedrick said the appearance of multiple helicopters sparked panic among the kidnappers.
"We noticed four helicopters came that very day, we ran to bush, they pushed us down again. The thing calm down they brought us back again," she said.
She explained that the captives had no choice but to obey the bandits' orders as they were marched into the bush and made to lie low until the helicopters were no longer in the area.
Once the situation appeared calm, the kidnappers returned the victims to their previous location.
Fedrick's account underscores the difficult conditions endured by kidnapping victims, who often remain at the mercy of heavily armed criminals during prolonged periods of captivity.
