Oshiomhole said the president has continued to perform official duties, attend public engagements and represent Nigeria at important national and international events.
He argued that public visibility should be measured by a president's official responsibilities and activities rather than by constant appearances in the media.
According to him, Tinubu has continued to preside over government meetings and carry out constitutional responsibilities expected of the office.
Addressing the criticism, Oshiomhole said, “I Do Not Understand the Claim That President Tinubu Has Not Been Visible Enough.” He maintained that available public records do not support such claims.
The former Edo State governor stated that opposition politicians may continue to question the president's activities, but citizens should consider the available evidence before reaching conclusions.
He also noted that presidents are often required to perform many official duties outside public view while government institutions continue to function.
Oshiomhole said political debates should focus more on government policies and their impact than on assumptions about visibility.
He added that every administration will continue to face scrutiny from both supporters and critics throughout its tenure.
The senator made the remarks while responding to questions about public perceptions of President Tinubu's leadership.
